A £1.2 million first year loss, three winding up orders and a double figure amount of ccj's in the last 12 months tells everyone something is wrong somewhere. And the other stories that are going round from well connected people are reason to be worried. Its not about points scoring, its not about gloating, its about wanting to know what the hell is going on with OUR club AGAIN.'"
Like it or not, this is not "OUR" club as the fans voted with their closed wallets when Ted asked for the bailout ahead of going into Administration. The club is a PRIVATE company who we can choose to buy tickets & merchandise from or not.
I'm sure it's not slipped anyone's attention that the whole country has been facing financial difficulties over the last few years, so is it really that surprising that one of the lesser teams (let's face it - that's what we have been in recent years) in the top flight of what is (at best) the fourth most popular sport in the country has had some financial difficulties of its own over the same period?
Of course we'd all like to know the TRUE details about the day-to-day business at Belle Vue, but none of us (except Daddycool
) actually have the RIGHT to know these things.
If anyone feels they can run the club better, then I'm sure AG would be happy to listen to their offer for his shares if they have the cash to back up their aspirations. If they don't then the best thing to do is keep buying the tickets & merchandise rather than constantly looking for the "bad news" and spinning it further out of proportion on the internet.
