Quote ="kinleycat"That's what we have presently. If the BoD want our input (the supporters) they can ask, look on here etc, which they did initially. Lets not forget MC, AG and DL along with wildcat comms have all had presences on here so they know where we are and what the fans think.
I'm not convinced that having a board presence would be welcomed, necessary or beneficial to either party or to the "lucky" recipient of the nomination.
We aren't inventing wheels but are we changing the shape of one for no good reason?'"
What exactly constitutes a 'good reason'? Doesn't nearly going bust 2.5 years after the last time count???
I think we are talking on different levels here - we are talking about overseeing the running of the club, having access to and being involved in business decisions that preserve the club for the prosperity of its supporters now and for future generations.
The new BoD can either view us with the scepticism you do or they can embrace us and let us work together to try and keep this club where we all want it.
We have a club tagline, which I have lamented before, but there is a genuine opportunity for us to become that club - you know, 'Together we are Stronger'.
We will explore this as far as it will take us and see what comes of it - that is what we are here for and that is what our constitution demands of us.
