As one of the 17 who put their hands (deep) in their pockets when Ted asked I'd obviously want to know the fine detail of purpose, delivery & expectations for the future.

I don't have time to post like I used to, promotion has it's sacrifices, but would gladly PM a leading ST member my mobile number.

Bottom line for me:
1. How much monetary investment per person?
&
2. How much of a time commitment are you looking for from each individual? (Meetings, briefings etc)

What exactly constitutes a 'good reason'? Doesn't nearly going bust 2.5 years after the last time count???

I think we are talking on different levels here - we are talking about overseeing the running of the club, having access to and being involved in business decisions that preserve the club for the prosperity of its supporters now and for future generations.

The new BoD can either view us with the scepticism you do or they can embrace us and let us work together to try and keep this club where we all want it.

We have a club tagline, which I have lamented before, but there is a genuine opportunity for us to become that club - you know, 'Together we are Stronger'.

We will explore this as far as it will take us and see what comes of it - that is what we are here for and that is what our constitution demands of us.

Your view seems on a different level to that of Sandal Cats. He wanted to get the supporters view across where as you want to oversee the running of the club; if I understand both of your comments correctly that is a fundamental difference of opinion and confusing.
In theory the idea is great in practise my view. Is that it comes with many flaws.
At the end of the day however you wish to proceed is none of my business I was just trying to add my unbiased opinion. The club will either accept or not.

I'm quite happy that the goals I mentioned are shared by SC - and the remaining board members. We're not here just to be yes men, but just as we are on here, we share the same goal as the club, but not necessarily the same route to it.
