Stop worrying bout what Catalans are going to do. Sort our defence and the silly sloppy tries we have been conceeding and we will have a chance. We need to move up in a line and wrap the ball up in a tackle these are basics but we dont seem able to manage them. Had we done this better over the season we would be in the top 8.

A well-worn coaches cliché, but absolute nonsense nonetheless; of course you have to take account of the weapons your enemy has and how he'll deploy them.

In this instance, Catalans are missing two of their key players but still have tremendous grunt up the middle and an unorthodox style of play that can be difficult to defend against; the young fullback (Escare?) will also need to be carefully watched - he's lethal in broken play and has been on fire in recent weeks.

I don't feel especially hopeful to be honest, however inconsistent they've been.

We should have beaten them and beaten them convincingly at their spot. I'm sue if fox can catch we can beat these. They really are nothing special.
