If, as one poster suggests, Cas have declared tha Railway End to be exclusively for away fans, has there been some kind of directive from the RFL or, are we just trying to improve the atmosphere on matchdays.
It has already been mentioned that the capacity of the Western Terrace will struggle to cope with the numbers of fans from Leeds, Cas and the 2 Hull clubs, so will these games become ticket only.
Our group have stood on the Western Terrace for over 20 years and IMO it is the best view in the ground, also will entry and exit via the turnstiles on the west side of the ground be open to all supporters ?'"
Cas have not made the railway end for away fans only (i stand there myself outside the supporters bar) technically away fans can still stand in any stand, the only difference from previous years is that to stand in the wheldon road end fans must have purchased a membership (this applies to both home and away fans) which start at 50 pounds, i know of several leeds fans that have purchased bronze membership as they can get 2 tickets and can make there money back in discounts and selling the cas hat, pen etc that you get with the membership pack. These away fans will be able to access the 'members stand' while many home fans will not.
Hope this clarifies things for you.
For the record i'm against this or any form of segregation as imho its only leads to trouble.
