Sykes gets exposed defensively in centre. His defence is good but not so much outwide. Where as the influence at stand off he has is tenfold. Tried..tested... Keep at SO.

Kirmond Is a quality SR so keep him there.

Oh i agree like for like is the way to go and the nearest fit for me is Walshaw. But going on past selections I just don't think he will. In the last 6 weeks this scenario has cropped up twice. In france he put Sykes there and brought John in and against Wigan he switched Kirmond. That said as both moves failed hopefully he will have learnt his lesson.

Walshaw I would be tempted with due to the saints centre threats and walshaws strong defence. So long as its an actual centre then it should be ok.

We can afford one young player to show his credentials surely without resorting to makeshift fixes.
