| Re: WTWRLFC Artist in Residence - Jason Wilsher-Mills
Hi guys
On the back on an historic and monumental day I wanted to post a request for your help. As some of you know I will be taking up the post of WTWRLFC Artist in Residence in September, which has been kindly funded by the Arts Council England.
If the the stadium wasn't good enough news, I have been shortlisted for an international art award, the Culture Cloud Competition. Out of 950 international artists, I have been chosen to go into the final 100, and now it's open to the public vote.
Now this is where you guys come in...
I want to use the might of the Trinity supporters base to ensure that I get to the final 40, which will not only be a huge achievement, but will also mean that I will have a national stage to talk about this wonderful club of ours.
The work shortlisted in this competition is different to that I will be doing in the residency, and you can see some of my preparatory work here [urlhttps://www.facebook.com/pages/Wakefield-Trinity-Wildcats-Artist-in-Residence-2012-13/361943703822349

The work I have shortlisted for the Culture Cloud Competition is a very personal piece about living with pain, disability, etc, and obviously has impressed the judges. The public vote is a lovely thing, as I am able to call on the extended Trinity 'family' for your help, as I want to do get as far as I can so I can do you all proud.
If I get to the next stage then I will be invited to London to speak to the national media, which is a huge opportunity for the project, the club and obviously myself as a professional artist.
[[ubIf you would like to help, then all you have to do is click on the link below and and then press the Facebook 'like' button in the top right hand corner.[/u
See link to vote [urlhttp://www.artfinder.com/work/some-kind-of-ugly-beauty-jason-wilsher-mills/[/url
[uThanks in advance for your help and thanks to TRB, Snowie, etc for their continued support.
[/u

| Thank you all so much guys.
I can't express my gratitude, but all I can do is say I will not let you down, and everything I do with the residency, will be inspired and by you all.
What a time to be a Trinity supporter, with my own career progressing in the same manner as this wonderful club of ours.
If I get to the next stage I will ensure Trinity get the credit they deserve.
Thank you
Jason
