What is the format on final's night? Is it a straight knock out or groups like Euro 2012?

I have a feeling it is a knockout competition, although last year there was a plate comp as well for those that went out in the first round. Leeds went into the plate comp and then won that and got more of a presentation/celebration than the winners of the main comp.
