Quote ="Trinity Till Death"Well said KK! Pitts was playing regular first team rugby at the time, and i've no doubt he'd have continued to do so considering the form he was showing. Whilst it's understandable that such a decision is never easy, more youngsters should look to establish themselves as a regular in the first team before moving on.
Whether it's the money or the club, Pitts development has stalled because he was naive to believe everything he was 'sold'. Hopefully in this case, Hull can resurrect what looked a promising career. But as KK alluded too sometimes the short term gain doesn't outway the long term prospects!!'"
Not sure thats entirely a valid point (well not in this case at least) - he left to join the multiple grand final winning team with a fantastic winning culture, being surrounded by quality at every turn - and with fantastic facilities to boot. He has now gone to a club making all the right noises off the field (although admitedly they have had a few false dawns on this front) who are also spending big money and must have realistic grand final aspirations in the next 3 years or so and he will continue learning his trade from one of the best 2nd row forwards in the world for the 5 or 6 years or so.
Would have loved to see him come back though, but given the balance of the squad we have he is in a position we dont have any issues with and any money available for him would be better spent elsewhere.
