I seem to remember that we were top of the table at this point last season. It's a long hard season and many things can change due to injuries, loss of players due to unforseen circumstances etc.So it may be premature for any clubs to start bragging or moaning.

Really looking forward to this Sunday, some of our newbies look like absolute gems:

Penny - Hope this plenty more as to where is dancing feet came from
Mariano - Its frightning to see a forward of his size shift it like he can
Howarth & Johnson -Both blokes certainly put themselves about a fair amount last week.
Dean - Rated him even when at Saints we could well see some combination tries involving this lad this season.

The bottom line is, these youngsters don't seem to know the meaning of the word fear and if last week's performance in France is anything to go by, there seems to be lots to look forward to this year.

Add Paul Johnson to that list; he's a beast.

With a couple of shrewd signings we have the making of a decent side.
