Perhaps we could tempt you out of retirement.
What I would suggest is a change of tactics; encouraging and enlightening rather than lambasting and lampooning.
It would be good to have an O/T sticky, for reference, containing common errors and misunderstandings. A place for the grammar nazis to vent their anger and frustration in a calm and constructive manner, offering support to the literarily challenged.
Obvious candidates would be there/their/they're, effect/affect and whose/who's; along with spellings such as guarantee, definitely and outstandingly.
There could also be commendations for 'word of the week' to promote lexical diversity (or for the poster who uses the most semi-colons.
P).
Clearly this is an informal medium, and there are simple typographical errors, particularly prevalent amongst those using smart phones, but there's no harm in trying to improve the quality.
Remember: were never to old too lern.
