Good question. Who was the last great player (after Wally) in an average Wakey team that got relegated at the end of the season? I don't think we've had one, have we? All our "greats" managed to stay up (unless you count Nigel Wright in the season before SL - still remember propping up the bar after the hammering we got at Cas when him and Billy Conway + families were the last in. Interesting conversation. Needless to say, as a Wakey fan you'd've taken Billy every time).
