I can name 2 dozen fans alone what would have been in our hotel and drank in the same bars as us, and not one of them missed the trip because of the rugby we are playing. They had either other plans couldnt get the right flight or had financial constraints or in the case of quite a few been there done it and its now too expensive so we will give it a miss. The main reason it was deserted is because the tourist industry in Perpignan is in a slump at the moment, but looking on the bright side you could sit where you wanted

It was our first time at the Catalan's game and I've got to say, despite the result and the poor weather, we really enjoyed the weekend. The atmosphere amongst the WTW fans was great, especially during the first half. We had Laurel & Hardy and not forgetting the 118 118 guys (thanks Kelv & Mick!!). We even had something to cheer at half time when the Crigg All Blacks played (& drew) against some local lads.

Plan to go back next year - just hope it is not the last chance and we that we get a summer game!
