Quote="Wakefield No 1"Did anybody go to the store? we went, they invested in a big sign outside (just for the weekend???) and it was pretty busy.
QuoteThey had the new RL game on the wii for kids to have a go on (great idea) along with Aaron Murphy and another player (not sure who) sat on the floor talking which looked a bit silly but they would have talked to people if anybody wanted to and signed autographs.'"
The shop is in a prime location near the lift on the top floor, finances obviously permitting but if it could be there all the time it would be a great thing for the club..Well done to those who thought of the idea and made it happen.

i went up saturday and sam obst and daryl millard were there hanging around the rugby league game talking to fans and even having a go. Presumably to promote the club and the match Friday
Oh, also this is an encouraging quote for James Elston;
[i“We wanted to take advantage of us not having a Carnegie Challenge Cup tie by visiting the city centre and making ourselves accessible to the fans.
“The weekend store was a fantastic success, both in terms of sales and awareness of the club; I would like to thank the Ridings Shopping Centre for playing its part in helping with our promotion.
=#FF0000“We will continue working with the Ridings and considering our options concerning a permanent base in the city centre.”[/i
