Mr. Kear was asked about Chase and Westerman in an interview you may have heard on Ridings FM yesterday...he'd be interested if they were available, but at this moment, they aren't. Saying that, I can't think of many coaches in this part of the league table who wouldn't want either of those two in their squads.

We were in for burgess on loan about a month ago because he was available but then greg eastwood got injured and leeds wouldnt let him go..
IF...we could sort out deals for ratchford and burgess and maybe get stosic back...i'd be more than happy...

But if we are to go down the NL route...Kyle Briggs (Fev) and Bracek (Barrow) Ostick (Fax) would be good additions

Bracek is not a bad shout. Has the tools to give JK & Beans something to work with. Can we see if we can swap him for Bibb??!!

Not sure on Ratchford myself. Obviously he would be a decent long term purchase but i dont think he is what we need right now. He is not going to organise and lead us around the park. He is more in the Ben Jefferies mould and there would be a transfer fee involved so i dont see that happening.
Drew if fit (unlikely) would be a decent short term measure and Chase would be a great signing, but i reakon there is more chance of Matterson going than him and i would of thought we would have some serious competition for his signature!
Outside of SL in my opinion the best halves/SH in the NL are probably, Black, Webster, Rooney and Briggs. Dont think any are good enough for SL to be honest (Black at a push but he's another aussie!)

Tronc and Newton cant be helped, but its just a shame we are not in a position to say no when somebody comes and offers us a few grand for our most influential player at a time when there is not going to be alot available to replace him.
At the moment the only place the Brough deal looks like a sound deal is on the balance sheet!

1. New Stadium, we should be getting some more news this week which I am hoping will be positive. TRB and myself have a formal meeting with the council on Tuesday.

2. Thats a tough one and all we can do is wait for someone to come forward. It could happen once the stadium and future is secure.

3. Strategic leadership I have heard there is some re structuring taking place this week and although some will not see it as a major development it is a positive step in the right direction.

4. Financial accumen I would say it is very good. If supporters were realistic and realised we are only a very small club income wise then I would say we do extremely well with what we have to work with.


All in all, I know we are playing terrible at the moment but things are happening. The stadium is the key and that happening will also sort out many of the other issues.
