Just to say Good Luck from a Halifax Fan.
The problem with Rugby League and all sports is that we all (Directors/Sponsors and Fans) love to see a competative team out on the pitch . This however costs a lot of money and its a bit like the chicken and the egg, E.G.. Danny Brough is a great player for you guys and you want to keep him, but to keep him you have to pay him more money which you cant really afford, but if you let him go you will lose some supporters and money through the turnstiles which again you cant really afford. So what is the answer ?
We have been through it at Fax many times and to be fair to the people running the clubs its is a bloody hard job. If we invest in a better squad it will bring in more fans but if we have a midseason slump and some fans stop coming we still have the wages/Tax/VAT etc etc to find. Its easy for us fans to be up in arms when this sort of thing happens but we are all guilty of wanting sucess and after all whats the point in running a business if you dont want to strive to improve ?

Crystal Palace have just been placed in administration! Seems they couldn't pay the tax bill.

CPFC going into administration allows the club to continue which wouldn't be the case if a winding up order was granted tomorrow.

Although there's theoretically still time for WT to appoint administrators before tomorrow's hearing, the reality of such situations is that if WT were expecting that a winding up order would be granted they would have entered administration longer before CPFC.

Other positive indications ahead of tomorrow are the smaller thing like Snowie;s announcement about a prize for the predictions comp - the club clearly wouldn't have offered the prize if we weren't going to be around after tomorrow.

Here's looking forward to a very short hearing tomorrow that will let us put this nonsense behind us for good & then move on to a winning start to the season on Saturday.
