Was that true when Wigan signed Trent Barrett, or was it different then?

Barrett came for the same reason as Tronc is coming........money, Trent was available due to the fact St George had to get him off the cap as he was killing them due to massive mismanagement, but they did and nor did he want to go to another NRL club at the time.

It is a good example though, but you know what they say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
