great place canet and if you like your beaches and bars it is a fantastic place.
Stayed in canet twice now, last august, and it was absolutely vibrant when we went in august, the beach was rammed and the resteraunts where full past midnight. we done a 10 day trip in august by road and the canet welcome is second to none in my opinion.
We also stayed there in april for the league game, the weather wern't the best when we went in april but we still had a thoroughly good time, if you like your drinking you will be suited to canet!
I reccomend the canet cafe sud to any wakefield fan who is travelling up there this weekend. they have sky sports and are very welcoming to any rugby fan- if the sky game is on on the friday they will have it on for you, you will also get to visit keith the plant when here ( the plant which was mentioned on sky during the wigan game which is now living in canet until next year)
On a game day I would reccomend the bus to perpignan- 1 euro 10 cents for the bus and it is about a 20 minute journey, also the bus drops you off in the centre of perpignan near the castle.
coming back a taxi seems your best option, if there are a few of you the taxi will be about 10 euro each.
