the guys been over here along time now i think people are knocking him when we really hav'nt seen that much off him ,give the guy a break , give him some more game time then judge the lad , has for me i think he could become a good member of the side , and yes i would love more home grown talent coming through but i still would like frank to be given a contract then pass judgement after a full season next year

Think we saw what we have all wanted to see from big frank, ran hard certanley stood his ground well and on thing i noticed was always the first to put his hand up to do the hard work of a tap pen.I cant agree more he's worth a contract and at 22(dont quote me lol) he's got time on his hands to develop into a major force in the team and could benifit alot from learning of snitch stosic and playing of the drew brough.

Do you remember a player called Feleti Mateo?!!......played for London Bronco's for around 10 games in 2005 and hardly set SL on fire?!!.......If Winterstein is given the opportunity to get some game time I really do believe that he can become as good as Mateo......all the traits are there.

I think Frank should be given the opportunity to earn an extended contract by his displays, especially given that we are very limited in genuine back-row forwards.

Wilkes is not a second-row forward, he is a prop that makes the hard yards. He is too slow for defending out wide, Richard Horne just skipped past him as did Broughton.

If either Snitch or Ferguson get injured in the vital run-in it will leave a big hole in the team so we need Frank to be ready to fill in.

Given his age and from what i've seen, i would say he's worth looking at longer term.

I don't know how he gets on at training and if he fits in but he could be a usefull addition to the squad.
