Attended the game tonight,last game for some,needed to win, not great but job done were safe



What i thought was poor were players like tinny & fifita getting a standing ovation & singing from a full northstand to show their thanks to two long standing stalwarts of the club.They maybe leaving for whatever reasons,ooc & released or money,irrespective of this i was disgusted that neither carter/minnards couldn't come on the pitch with a microphone and thank them personally for all they had done for the club. Felt sorry for them

Carter and Minards waited for them to come back. And that was a long wait.
Giving both big hugs and chatting for a while.
They just wanted to give them their space to celebrate.

Mr Grumpy here, i think we should just give those two a bit of space. We have escaped an absolute disaster and live to fight another day. Lets hope they have learned a lesson and are far more savvy in their recruitment.
However here is a bit of advice for what its worth. Some have suggested that max, murphy and kershaw were our thre best players tonight. So dont be looking at over the hill dross from any where else, the future of this club may be right under your own nose, wakey profuce good players, dont under value our own.

Don't get me wrong, you still need a bit of quality and experience, but it does boil my bodily waste, when we lose a goof young un at times, then bring in a player who's past it, or extend a contract, when maybe its not warranted, or extended to long

Why does there always have to be negative we just won 4 out of 5 after looking in serious trouble we are safe with 2 games to spare enjoy it both dave and tini would of loved been in the crowd.....

Microphone, megaphone. Wouldn’t of mattered cause I couldn’t hear a word that was said. Speakers were rubbish.

We have one or two deadheads who will be gutted that we lost tonight because they have agendas that are more important to them than the club.
I'm elated, over the moon and ecstatic and can't wait to get to Saints on Monday and enjoy a stress free game for the 1st time in over a year.

We also have one or two absolute believers who see nothing but shangri-la and I don’t mean a restaurant or are suffering with selective amnesia remembering only the good times even if they tend to be limited.
I am sorry to disappoint you but I am glad we survived because it gives those that shall not be criticised another chance to provide a squad we can be proud of and eradicate our constant survival battles.

None of us live forever not me not you it’s just a matter of time.
I have a question for you are you happy to have another season like this one, the last one or the one before that because you appear not to see any problems. I on the other hand want us to thrive and stop this constant grind trying to avoid relegation. I would hope those in charge will realise that next season will be the hardest and you cannot go into it with a squad not up to the job. If the story regarding Taylor is true we are replacing a 24 year old with a 34 year old so not a good start.
I guess all clubs need supporters like you gullible and willing to believe next season we will be millionaires (couldn’t resist).
I guess if all you have is to wish someone to no longer exist it somewhat explains that you have lost the argument oh and by the way I am not your mate.
