One of his best games for us yesterday I thought - although I wouldn't have him on from the start; he's an ideal sub to throw at defenders who have already had some gas taken out of them.

Agree, good news and I'm a big fan. Just needs to be used properly like Bren says. Off the bench for me, play last 15 mins of the first half, first 10 of the 2nd half anf the last 15 of the match as a blueprint.

A try a game for the last 3, takes some stopping from a few yards out even if you tag team him.

Pauli Pauli, without doubt barring injury, has the makings of being a real force for us.

Just how long did you think it would take a player returning from a bad injury, no game time and moving half way around the world to settle in, one game or two?

Most people reckoned on half a season at least.

Come on Vasty, I wasn't the only one who had a few doubts at the start, but am.probavly one of the first to admit to a bit of humble pie.

Wasn't some at first comparing him to Jarrod Hockey.

As for taking time to settle, and taking up a quota spot, had he have taken the biggest part of the season to settle, people would be questioning this, with him taking up the quota spot, and also cap space, which isn't really a luxury that we have.

Jarrad Hickey took my breath away with his initial run in a Trinity shirt, taking 5 Salford players down with his first drive. Over the next 7 games he was put on diet, after diet with no avail. Eventually he was sent off to a camp to improve his fitness and it still didn't work effectively ending his time at Trinity.

It's good to see that we can actually work closely with a player and put them through a "rehabilitation" process that works.

I want to see him ever present for Trinity, he sure adds a lot to the pack!
