Imagine trying to rouse a rabble to make a protest, aimed at the 1% of hardcore Trinity fans who are on this forum i.e. estimated 40 people, when a maximum of 50% i.e. 20, turn up and embarrass the Club and the Trust, with the "strength" of protest.

Imagine if someone tried to create a thread which would be closed immediately ... but no body took any notice!

I said that trying to raise an effective and meaningful protest on this forum, was futile.

A "protest" will embarrass us completely - we don't have the bodies to create a presence.

Do you seriously think the 15000 people who signed the petition will turn out in Wakey City centre to bring Box down.

Because you think it futile, doesn't mean it's futile. Infact, you're just an example of self-fulfilling prophecy. Getting this forum united and organised behind the idea of a protest would be an ideal starting point to get support. But then again... if we can't get the support of our so-called most passionate on here (like you), then what is the chance outside of the forum?

No, the ideal way will be to respond to any call for action from the body tasked with delivering the project on the behalf of the fans of the club and the citizens of Wakefield - the Trust.

When they call - I'll be there!

I'm sure are "more passionate" and dedicated fans than me out there - but not ing many!

I support this club in any way I can - my work colleagues think I'm a bit of a saddo - that's how I know I'm actually a decent fan!
