I gather that the combined gate receipts are divided up between the clubs who participate in each round; even if we go out to Leeds, that's a cash windfall that we won't have accounted for, unless we're using Bradford's people.

Either way, it's good stuff - a nice end of season sweetener for Mr Glover after all his hard work and investment.

It will be disappointing if we dont get around 3000 to Leeds.
Although the game is on Sky, this is the biggest game that we've had in a few years, its at one of our closest rivals and although we have absolutely nothing to lose, it would be superb to "do" Leeds on their own patch.
So dont watch the TV, get to Headingley and support your team.

Wakey are the team going in to the playoffs with momentum. This is what Leeds did last year and this is what Wests Tigers did in 2005 when they had a crap first half of the season then went on a winning run to sneak a playoff spot at the end of the season and ended up winning the Grand Final.

Just knock out Leeds then Huddersfield (both very beatable teams) then you're one game from OT with Wigan bricking themselves about you knocking them out after choosing them in club call.

But lets not get too excited about Huddersfield. We will be playing St Helens or Warrington or Wigan if they slip up.
We will only ever play Huddersfield in the Grand Final.

Wakefield win means they will play either Wigan, Warrington or Saints away in Week 2 (whichever of these in the highest placed winner from the final top 4). It is impossible for them to play Catalans away.

Leeds win means they will play either Warrington, Saints or Catalans away in Week 2. It is impossible for Leeds to play Wigan away.

My neighbour,who is a rhino!!!(i lived hear firsticon_smile.gif) reckons on a 10k gate,as
there is little interest in early rounds of play offs.
With that other mob playing away at cardiff on sat,and despite the stupid ko time of 8pm on a saturday night,i would have thought nearer 15k.

It would be great to show us as the loudest and best away support......but also the most welcoming and well behaved.
The number going to the pubs in Headingley to watch previous game could make things a bit messy if we are not careful.
