I'm not - no matter how he tries he will struggle to get noticed in a side that has only won 2 games and has lost heavily twice on SKY. This is yet another reason we can't attract good players - you have to be honest if you were selecting for either England or the exiles would Trinity be your first port of call? |

The people who pick these sides should have more intelligence than that IMO. Individuals are not a representation of the squad they play for or that squads form.
I can see that from the POV of someone with little knowledge of the game, then only obvious players from obvious clubs would be the obvious choices, but these people are RL seven days a week and should be far beyond that mentality, and have a much deeper understanding of the game and of the attributes of all players from all clubs. |

With greatest respect to Aiton, who I like a lot, he is competing with Monaghan and Leuluai for the hooking position. As they are at more "noticeable" clubs and are clearly great players, I can see why he hasn't been picked.

Kinley if you believe that you will believe anything - yeah it should work like that but is doesn't. I don't want to burst your bubble but the shirt you wear and where that shirt is in the hierarchy of the game does count.
As for the bit I've highlighted in bold, I see you've lost non of your ability to be a touch condecending. I know how RL really works thanks as opposed to your clearly theoretical version. Thanks. |
