Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have announced a brand new price structure for games at Hearwell Stadium in 2010.
Under the new pricing structure fans who buy their tickets for home games in advance will be guaranteed of being able to see matches at 2009 prices.
Those fans that pay at the turnstiles will, however, face a small price increase with basic ground admission for first team games for the 2010 season going up by £2 to £20.
Under the new scheme fans who have not taken advantage of buying season tickets can purchase their tickets for each home game in advance from the club’s Super Store on Doncaster Road; by telephoning the club’s offices or on line via the club’s web site (
www.wakefieldwildcats.co.uk).
They will receive the advantage of discount and only the fans who have not bought their tickets in advance will have to pay the full price, although a full concession price structure is in place.
Francis Stephenson, the Wildcats General Manager, said: “We want to give Wildcat fans the best possible deal and the new plan will enable people who follow this club to keep the costs of watching Rugby League down during 2010.
“Unfortunately it has been necessary to increase the admission prices at the Hearwell Stadium because the club, like most other businesses in the country, is being hit on a regular basis by substantially raised costs.”
Added Stephenson: “Fans can also cut their costs by buying season tickets and we believe that this is the best way of securing your place at Wildcat matches.
“Our ‘early bird’ deal on season tickets has proved to be really popular and offers fans a significant discount.
“But any fans that haven’t taken advantage of this package and want to save money in their season tickets shouldn’t waste much time in making their purchase because the deal runs out on November 30!”
Wildcats’ 2010 pricing structure is as follows: -
