Why bother entering then? And I can't imagine many other teams would sent strong squads either!
A tournament like this would be better held when teams can send a decent squad and the prize has some kind of meaning behind it....sadly, the days of the Wigan 7's and their ilk appear to have passed - unless there's a pre-season tournament involving SL clubs, and perhaps NL ones as well. |

| it isn't meaningless, its a competition that's been renewed and will take on over the coming years, ideal to show of some of our academy starlets and last years competition was well organized in a ideal venue to house 20k supporters that mull around and watch what ever game they wanted and plenty of snap on as well
well worth the ten pound entry fee |
