| In this mornings LE it states that HKR are/were/are'nt interested in Danny Brough!
WTF is going on here?
It's about time the club took some strong action against those clubs, coaches, agents or pressmen who are touting or meddling with our under contract players.
That is of course if the club are'nt complicit in this tampering.

No way we are trying our hardest to sign him up on another contract.

Don't forget Wilkes to Quins as well.

| I know for a fact that the Moore to Wigan was true, Noble wanted him on loan which we agreed, but then a series of phonecalls from a certain person higher up at Wigan put a stop to it which shows just how precarious Nobles position is, add that to the fact that they publicly approached another coach to take over makes for interesting times at Wigan come the end of the season.

| Danny Brough, Wakefield to Hull KR
Arguably one of the best players in Super League on his day, the future of Brough has been under much speculation in recent months. He has now been linked with a move to Hull KR, where he would share the hooking role with Ben Fisher. Brough previously played for arch rivals Hull FC, and won the Challenge Cup with the Airlie Birds in 2005. He has also been linked with Huddersfield.
Oliver Wilkes, Wakefield to Harlequins
Versatile forward Wilkes is set to make the move south to London after Quins offered him a deal for the 2010 season. The former Wigan and Widnes man has been at Wakefield for the past two seasons but it is reported that Quins have made him a better offer to make the move south. Cumbrian born, Wilkes played for Scotland in the 2008 World Cup.

| The biggest problem we - and I'm sure some other clubs - are having at the moment is the agents of players that aren't out of contract at the end of the season.
We can all understand that agents will be involved (they've got a poor reputation to maintain after all!!! ) but when they begin encouraging players to ask for improved contracts one year into a three year deal & then tell them to demand a move if they get turned down, we can't expect to hear anything but a ridiculously high level of rumours from various "sources".
I'm not saying that players should represent themselves, but they certainly should be decent enough as individuals to respect the contracts they signed. The last thing I want to see is the players of this fantastic sport develop the primadonna attitude towards contracts that just aboout every footballer seems to have these days.

I'm amazed that so many run of the mill SL players use agents. For what they are on over a 10 years career, a 10-15% cut of their wage is pretty significant.

I get the impression that Danny wouldn't want to share any role he was given!

TBF it's better than the league weekly. Not that that's saying much, I know...
