Charles last few times Cougars have played you have predicted loss after loss. Any reason for your dislike for the Cougars?

I can tell you; several years ago we played Leigh at Leigh and Jermaine Wray tackled a grounded Leigh player. To be honest it looked a bit dubious and Leigh accused him of going in with the knees; Charlie the clown was all over this forum like a rash, spewing bile and spitting venom.

When you looked at the video it was obvious that wray had not deliberately used the knees. Amazingly, Clown man disappeared. He might actually be a very nice bloke but he's good at making comments that wind people up.... Dreamer knows.

Remember the incident now Dreamer, Charles is clearly a bitter chap.

Only 3 points gap to 5th place. Batley and Haven were thrashed by more than we have been all season, it's going to be tight. We have better points difference than haven and 1 point behind Batley. It could come down to points difference.

My favourite for the drop is Haven. Even if we lose to Donny but collect a point I'd still be fairly confident. Beat Donny and we are back in business.

It's unlucky 5 go down, any other season we'd be ok! The irony of bradford going down and us going down would be too much to bear!! Dont do this to me cougars.

I just realized that I put this in the wrong place, I'd posted it in the "Leigh 30 Keighley 0" post whereas I should have posted here;

Just looking at the fixture list for ourselves and the 5 clubs above us, it's going to be tough but I would expect between 12 and 14 points from our next 6 games ( if we play like we're capable of ie Leigh at home and Sheffield away then we could have 18 points) which would give us either 44 or 46 points (or even 50), take note 4 games are at home and three of the games are against teams that everybody expect to be relegated, if we can't beat them then it's over!

Of the clubs above us I think Whitehaven have the most difficult fixture list:

We may have got spanked yesterday but our home form has been very good .Since being beat by NWC at home we have gone on to beat,Donny,dews,swinton,eagles,cougars,and to be honest were hard done by in the Leigh game .We tonked Batley at their place so I would expect a win at home against them .Batleys run in is horrendous ,lots of twist turns and still some shock results to come

Absolutely right there, what worries me is we have supposedly three of the easier teams to play! Its one or two of those games which I can see us ballsing up. We beat Rochdale convincingly, the week after they beat Fev. The leagues gone mad.

just because I predict the Cougars in my 5 , it has upset folk , what about the predictions of others on this Forum , and you haven't half give the Dulls as you can them , some stick .

As we have seen this season. Anyone can beat anyone.
I get the feeling its going right down to the last game.

We seem to have a decent relationship with Warrington, haven't they got someone who would fit our needs, for a few weeks? Team like that must have some decent youngsters, who could do with a run out at a decent level?

We have a roster of players that are capable of doing the job, unfortunately we've had injuries that have cost us dear.

To my mind, Handforth and Jones developed an understanding and have been the best half back partnership we've seen down here for a good few years. Coupled with injuries to Buster, Shickell, Sheriffe, and others plus the suspension to March we've been found wanting.

Getting fit bodies back on the park and "getting our heads right" would give us a fighting chance.

As for a DR player, or a loan player, we've already seen this year with sides we've played against, that some are a big success whilst others are a waste of space and a detriment to team performance.

Thing is it's now do or die, and it pains me to say, we have to be amongst the favourites for the drop.

An urgent return to winning form is needed by whatever means.

Agreed - we must stay in this division.
Relegatiin would mean disaster.

During a 'Senior Moment' I somehow thought that Whitehaven were playing Rochdale today, but they weren't.

So, after adjusting my earlier prediction, following today's results I have:

6th Workington with 49 still 52
7th Whitehaven with 49 now 47
8th Sheffield with 48 now 46
9th Cougars with 44 - now 46
10th Batley with 42 now 44

Even tighter and 'points difference' could well come into play!

But at least we're not in the relegation place at last!

Let's hope that we can just keep on winning and can beat Swinton at their new home next week.

Excellent result yesterday, I had that down as a bonus point at best.

Clearly we can play good rugby lets keep it up. A win next week should see us jump over both Batley and Sheffield.
