| Unfortunately for the cougars you ran into in my opinion the form team of the 2nd half of the season.3 of our tries were top drawer finishes. your weak link was dave halley who dropped 1 kick return after hed ran 20 metres with the ball under complete control, and was easily out paced by towns winger, elliot miller for towns 1st try. and if you compared the two full backs they were like chalk and cheese, brett carter dominated the kick returns, and scored two well taken tries. but the big difference was darren holt, who showed at 65 years old he can still boss even the better teams around the field, and kind of gave your two half backs a lesson. keighley didnt play badly at all,and it was an arm wrestle until half time, then town blew you away with very good rugby. i think we will meet in the 1st playoff game then probably again in the final, in which will be 2 very good open games. good luck against the jam in a week or so

| Strangest game I've seen us play in a good while. We gave them far too many chances and credit to them they finished them in style.
Their kick /chase combined with a strong defence finished us. We didn't seem to be hitting the line at pace or running the angles. All they had to do was set up a straight strong defence and it was enough to keep us out.
Our heads went down too easily when really we were still in the game. We are capable of scoring back to back tries against anyone but we didn't have the grit we displayed twice against Swinton.
We need to hang on to second for home advantage - a rematch at our place would be interesting.
