well said Rob , fully agree. I really hope the club pulls out all the stops to create a good impression to Warrington , and not just to bolster already over inflated egos of a certain individual. I dont envy Rach, Wendy etc in the bar on that day and hope they are giving as much support as they need ... good luck to all concerned.

I hope we can hold them for a while the Wolves are not in perfect form at the mo and we are looking pretty sharp, Now in no way am I saying we can win but given allot of factors that aid us more than last season, notably we have a better team by far, other little things like we at home this time and the Warringtons previous game to playing us will an easter monday trip to Catalan which will not be eay in more ways than one. I would hope we can make a real game of at least for the first half.

Potentialy we can keep them below 50 if things go well I think we could score a try or two

with regard to the drinks and the bar I know that we are having at least 1 bottle bar set up for before, during, and after the game and we are hoping to position it at the side of the standing stand. There was also talk of bottle sellers using the bags from the old pie suppliers walking around selling beer. Hopefully this will help as the main problem with the hof bar, is that the more people you put behind it, the harder it is. Having spent the last 4 years on a match day behind the bar, anymore than 4 bar staff and it becomes very hard work,just to get to the guiness and magners, never mind the blooming till. lol.

I was on about this after the game on Sunday.

Having seen this in action whilst watching live sports events whilst in the US and Canada. I can safely say it works. Instead of selling those plastic bottles of Carling at £2.70 a piece, sell them at 2 bottles for £5 so the sellers don't have to carry too much change. The club will be laughing.

I don't see why people are aggrieved by the additional cost for the Warrington game, they are one of best teams in Super League and hopefully they will bring a good following.

Not too much pub wise directly around the ground. As Rach has said there the Hall of Fame in the ground. Alternatively there's the cricket club next door which will no doubt open it's doors. Keighley Town Centre's only a 5-10 minute walk away from the ground.

On 'Wikipidia it says that it is 7800 - but I would imagine that's before the stand capacity was reduced.

Wouldn't it be better to ask Warrington how many tickets they can sell and then, taking into account the potential sales in Keighley, allocate the remainder to Warrington?

It's not 'rocket science' and will avoid potential problems at the gates on the day.

I think the ground's capacity was reduced when the exits where the turnstyles are behind the scoreboard were blocked off by the used car dealership.

Trying to sort the day off at work be nice to visit a new ground. 15pound is a bit pricey but can't blame you trying to make as much money as possibly. Glad they have got rid of the free 4th round entry( and 5th in juniors) in season tickets.

The East Stand doesn't have a roof. There's no designated away end at Cougar Park. The ends behind the sticks are the North and South stands. The North has a roof, the South doesn't. On the whole fans stand at whichever end they're attacking and change ends at half time.

Cougar Park (previously Lawkholme Lane) is the 'traditional sports-ground' with the rugby pitch backing onto the cricket pitch - just like Headingley (and Fartown used to be). As 'Stealth' commented, it's brilliant because you can, and most supporters do, change ends at half-time.

Hope that you bring a decent following to enjoy a great family-day out. The pies are excellent and their sales suport a worthy cause.

If I was Smith I'd go with the strongest possible squad. We need confidence from doing the basics right and the stuffing on Monday did us no favours.

It's going to be one of two things, a backlash which could resemble last years scoreline or be a contest for the majority if not the full game. If I were Keighley and JD, getting out the blocks like a house on fire would be your best bet. Keep the doubt in the Wire minds while it's still fresh from Monday. Complete your sets and defend well, you will get your fair share of ball.

So far we've sold just over 500 tickets so unless plenty more travel on the day it won't be the biggest following we've took to West Yorkshire this year.

In terms of the price, £15 I'm happy with and a perfectly reasonable price.
