Hunslet are doing a payment scheme 4 x £31.00 October to January, and a free junior season ticket with and adult season ticket. Could we introduce this??

Sounds like to many people are waiting for the price to drop!! If everyone who got a season ticket last year rang today we'd be well on our way!

For fixed price season tickets this is a great idea. However, thanks to the Cougars innovation this could be too administrative based on the number of staff down there. It might just need some thinking about, but I think in today's financial climate any opportunities to spread the cost should be considered. Worthy of further consideration.

Aren't you effectively spreading the cost by putting the £60 down straight away?

Maybe payment plans would be a good idea after the deadline passes when we know what the final cost is.

Maybe the club could just accept 3 post dated cheques. Simples!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I was trying to point out was in cougars case the price could change so post dated cheques wouldn't potentially work.

Speaking for myself, £60 is a lot of money in the months up to christmas. I would however commit to a direct debit of 4 payments.

Anyone know if you have to have a up to date photo for your season ticket?

No photo required! I believe it's a book of tickets this season, I rang up and got mine over the phone.

I've bought my season ticket. Great value before any additional savings so I didn't see the point in waiting.
I just can't wait for the season to begin now.

I asked when I bought my ticket which games were included. Though I haven't seen it written down, but that is my recollection.

Makes sense, we have 9 home games in the regular season. If northern rail is the same as last year, we will have 2 home games. Then the first game of the challenge cup was included last season too when we had our thrilling win over Toulouse. So that's the 12 as per the website.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Challenge Cup games don't count and that this is for all teams.

Half of me hopes it doesn't count as twice in recent years we have had a big crowd against a Super Dupper League Club and all their fans got in free.

Maybe I'm mistaken then. I support equally whichever competition it is, so i was asking more about what I was paying and how many games I could watch. For me, at that cost it was a no brainer because I'd get to all home games that I physically could.

In terms of free tickets: If another club has a season ticket that lets them get to the first challenge cup game free, surely that club would still have to pay something over to share out the game revenue? Just because a fan gets in free shouldn't mean the other club gets no revenue from the gate receipts?

What previously happened was every club got a free challenge cup game. We use ours in the 3rd round against a French club normally. Then in the 4th round we draw a super league club and they get their free game with their season tickets. We dip out.

Cup games are still shared gate. But if a load of the fans are getting in to the game for nothing because it's free with their season ticket, then the pot that is split is greatly reduced. For example Swinton would have made far much more money out of their game with Wire because their game against them was in the round after ours and far less season ticket holders got in for nowt.

Feels like a very unfair way of doing business in my eyes.... Suppose all the clubs must have agreed to it though for that to be allowed.
