Keighley have resigned Greg Nicholson and Ryan Benjafield.

They have also signed a as yet un-named player.
The player has commitments with his current club till November.
The player according to Barry has made a impact in Championship one this year.

As i was posting this, i got a phone call telling me who it is. Lets just say i am surprised but very pleased, to find out we have got someone like him. This really is a good sign for the future.

Also glad to see the two other players have signed.

There isn't too many players from championship one i'd want in our side.

I'd be surprised if it was anyone from Dewsbury. There's a few from Oldham that would do a good job and they're skint so I wouldn't be surprised if he was from them.

In reply to the original post for this topic i am failing to understand why the unnamed person was ever mentioned? I would have thought that if somebody has been told something in trust and not asked to divulge it then they should not even bring the subject matter up. what is there to gain from it, wouldn't it just have been better to wait for proper news with proper subsatnce and content. after all it was only a day later when it was official! I'm sure most fans know enough people "in the know" about all kinds of things but manage to stay quiet.

I think what he was getting at was he'd read the story in League Express saying we'd signed someone who was not named.

He then whilst forwarding this story here he got a call from a source at the club saying who it was.

Out of respect for the people at the club Helen, Barry etc he did not divulge this in to the public domain until the club had made an official statement.
