You only have to look at Donny this year to see DR doesnt work, they rely heavily on Hull 4/5 players every week and and like this weekend Hull have a mini injury crisis and their stuffed

I read an interesting tweet from Gareth Walker (RL Journalist) the other day:

Reading the reserve team news is great, very refreshing amongst the sour taste of the DR scandals. Very glad we never DR with anyone, id rather be in Champ 1 and have a solid youth development. Without a reserve team how do clubs develop players?

They don't, they either buy overseas crocks on ridiculous contracts or pay peanuts to any club who has a potential 'good un'.
Training and development of players is HARD WORK. Lots of clubs find that anathema.
