Our kicking has been shocking, from goal kicking to just getting it down field or why not 40 20s because I can't remember the last time I saw an attempt on this. Even our kickoffs are so predictable. Why has Ben Stead not been given a shot yet because he is kicking for goal for fun and from anywhere on the field at the minute, and the amount of times he has kicked 40 20s must be of use to our first team. Sometimes you have to bring in young blood especially at these times and lets face it can they really do any worse than what we are seeing, these lads will put on the first team shirt and want to keep that shirt for the next game. They will give everything they have just to make sure they try and keep that spot.

I have wondered why Danny Lawton hasn't been kicking for us because I always thought he did a good job.

I think the time has come to let some of our young local talent have a run out, you only have to see there performances and results.

There look to be some really good prospects in the U20's and it would be interesting to put one or two into the team and see how they play alongside older and more experienced players.(I know we have used some already)

I think Ben has played in the first team and if I recall didn't look out of place. He kicks well out of hand and his place kicks are excellent and has a good rugby brain. The only thing he slightly lacks is pace.

I think Ben has every chance of nicking Scott's shirt the way he is playing.
He has come on a lot since I did this video about him 3 years ago.
