Another hard fought win against adam mitchels team.
Kly took the lead with a 1 yard dash from the play the ball by danny barrett kriss gott missed the conversion.
bth then took charge going down the slope at clayton, adam mitchel putting thier loose forward through a gap and then converting that try. 6-4 bth
a bit of sloppy defending allowed bth to score another converted try 12-4 bth
5 mins before halftime kly produced some good handling in slimy conditions to send danny lunn over with gotty converting 12_10 half time
the second half was all kly playing down the slope they kept bth closs to thier own line but were unable to convert their terratorial advantage to points.
after forcing a second set in bth 25 it was set up for a move but danny lunn dropped the ball in contact!
from the ensuing scrum bth looked to move the ball wide but the pass went down and ric barr pounced to score next to the posts gotty again converting.
Kly kept bth at bay for the last 10 mins and came away with a well deserved 2 points and still top of the league
Free week next week then the yorkshire cup second round at rose cottage
this match could be against either Queensbury or Hunslet old boys who are the reigning yorkshire cup champions.
the kick off for this match could be earlier due to it being a cup match and could go into extra time.
