After a brutal encounter with nevison leap (16 all draw) last week your local amateur team play their 2nd home game this season.
last week we fielded a very young side with 3 of our under 18s playing.
this week its another team from pontefract as we welcome for the first ever time Knottingley Rockware arlfc to rose cottage.
they too have a 100% record this season having beaten osset and new earswick in the past two weeks.
the kick off is at 2:30 on the college pitch.

because we have to look after our own field now i was just wondering if any body had a petrol lawn mower that they dont use and want to get rid of?
we need one to cut the white lines into the pitch so when the pitch gets cut the white lines stay. Keith dixon is getting really grumpy having to walk round the pitch more than he has to!

another bruising encounter with a former yorkshire league side. im thinking that referees didnt punish hightackles and offsides in that league!!
we are now top of the league and now the only unbeaten side in the division.

was a good game to watch - had its moments and you do have problems with a loose cannon but all in all a good game.

Bank Top ...led by the one and only Adam Mitchell ...one of the nicest guys to play at Cougar Park who had he not suffered possibly one of the nastiest injuries I've ever seen on rugby field would still be turning out for the Cougars today..
