Can some kind Cougars fan please furnish some information? My wife and I hope to spend a short holiday in the area during next season. We have visited Cougar Park before, but by car. This time we intend coming by train. Can you tell me how far the station is from the park (we are senior citizens with difficulty walking long distances) and we would like to sample the Sunday Lunch cruise on the canal from Skipton. If timings are favourable, we should be able to take in both. If times are not suitable, we will not have the cruise on the Sunday (rugby is more important). With two steam railways in the area, it could be a great holiday. Thanks in advance for any information

Station to Cougars is a steady 20 minute walk.

A taxi would only be about £3 and the taxi office is at the station.

Most kickoffs are 3pm.

If you post again nearer the time of the game you intend to attend, I'm sure someone would offer you a lift from the station to Cougar Park, and back again if necessary. I'd pick you up if I'm around but I live in County Durham and work some weekends so I don't get to all the games.

If all else fails there's a taxi rank at the station. It'd be about £3 to the ground.
