In what was a very entertaining game tonight Cougars won 24-22, Jamie Shepherd scored a couple of tries and we were well marshalled by the evergreen Barry Eaton.

The most bizarre knock on that was not given I have ever seen missed by the officials was by us in 2nd half after a kick our player mishandled it and it shot foward onto ground everyone else saw it but even though it was in our favour it was ridicuolously poor by officials.

Featherstone had at least 3 first teamers from what I heard, well done the cougars.

I had to be in 2 places at once tonight. Glad I made the second half. Well done.

I thought second half tries were by Sean Kelly, and 2 by Ben Sagar.

That knock on was comical for the ref to miss.

I also thought we should have gone for the 2 pointer when given the chance to make a 4 point lead.

Not because a 4 point lead is much better than a 2, but it would have meant we got the ball back again.

With a couple of minutes left, we could have closed out the game with a bit less nerves.
