From what I read the visa situation goes back to their pre-SL days.

According to some on the Crusaders website, some players were on student visas as they were enrolled on courses at the College. This entitles them to have a part-time job but not be employed full-time.

There was always the suspicion that the salary cap was being broken with the RFL turning a blind eye. It could be that the government knew how the players were getting paid and decided to investigate.

Of course that's just my view.

at the end of the day the entire rfl is a complete joke and makes a farce of our beloved sport, it's just one thing after another. rules get changed year after year , nobody knowes where they stand anymore, it's ridiculous .People mock football but at least there's continuety in it.

Are the RFL complicit in all this...?

How did 8 Celtic players get into the country after the RFL backed their applications after one Cougar player got knocked back?

well that's a matter of opinion, all I'm saying is that you don't get rule changes etc every season and promotion an relegation is always the same
