RB is a good place to find bargains, also can be a big waste of a pick. see Addai amongst others.

I agree i cant see New England giving Lawrence Maroney many more chances even though there is a lot of talent there hes just too injury prone but im looking forward to seeing what Fred taylor can produce

I'm a big fan of Fred Taylor he's a very good back, he can give good production.

As for Maroney I'm not a fan, although allegedly (I'll try and find the article) he played a significant amount of games with a broken shoulder last season. He's not fast enough to run outside and he's too injury prone and not big enough to run it inside. He's kind of a jack of all trades master of none.

He is a decent player and I'm sure a good character guy but we need to sort out Greg Jennings contract first. He is being payed peanuts and is OOC at the end of the year despite being one of the top 3 receivers in the league IMO. He's still at camp though. We also have James Jones and Jordy Nelson who should usurp DD as the number two and three respectively in the next year.

I agree with all of that too mate especially the injury to his shoulder but the thing that swings it with me with Maroney is the fact that Belicheck has kept him this long so he must have something a little special even though he has yet to show it, especially with the money he is paid otherwise Belicheck would have got rid hes done it before with the likes of Lawyer milloy and Ty Law when he didnt think they represented good value for money.
But having said that i think this will be his last season in New England if he doesnt stay healthy

I agree though, it's all relative and subjective. Fitz and Andre Johnson are the clear top two IMO. Then it is a bit more debatable. I rate Jennings as three but i can understand why people say lower.

I meant atrribute wise, I disagree that he is a bigger deep threat target as well, Moss can outmuscle/outjump any DB in the league, but as you say it can all be about opinion.

IMO Moss is slightly overrated, he's always needed good players around him in order to produce, look at his time in Oakland for example, whereas Andre & Calvin Johnson have both played for teams who don't make the playoffs and are the best players for both teams on the Offensive side of the ball.

Definitely - you'd put your money on him to go up there and get the ball when it is thrown to him but there are far better route runners in the NFL who make Moss look one-dimensional.

I dont think hes ever pretended to be anything other than a deep threat guy or someone who runs good routes, im still surprised when he catches a ball anything less than 10 yards im always expecting it to be Wes Welker

What about when Moss was in Minnesota ? He had Daunte Culpepper and Cris Carter.

Jennings seems like a good personality and a very good teamate from the interviews i've seen. Very good hands and is a very good route runner. I'd say he's pretty good everywhere.

He has more catches of 20 yards and 40 yards or more than Moss. Jennings isn't somebody who will go up and get it, he can do it but it isn't his absolute strength. He is extremely good on the cut and i'd say can beat most corners at a break and outrun most.

The Bears sign LB Tinoisamoa,he's a good signing but i'd rather they were spending the money on a WR.

Good depth and a good player for the Bears LB corps.

I was disappointed when we released him. He puts in 100% effort all the time but he's never healthy though.

He isn't somebody who could go and get the ball from anywhere if it is thrown up but that isn't our passing game so he doesn't have to try.

We use quick cutting inside routes or quick outside passes and concentrate on YAC, which he is arguably the best in the league at.

The only reciever i'd consider trading him for is Fitzgerald. He is Rodgers key go-to guy so i'd expect a huge year (and new contract) for Jennings.

I find it hard to believe you rate him so highly, quite a few I'd have before him.

He is great. If he played for Dallas, New York or any other big market team he'd without doubt be one of the top rated recievers in the NFL.

Just like Kampman. He is an absolute monster defensive player but is not given much credit. Asomougha (sp?) would be even better know if people could pronounce his name and he played for a better team!

Kampmans got a big season coming up hasnt he just moved to LB, i agree hes a monster but moving position could knock him back for at least a season or two either way i still enjoy watching him play
