Hatton fighting at his preferred weight makes it more interesting but I cannot see him winning tbh.

Could Jennings v Cotto produce the underdog story of the year on February 21st? How much did that defeat to Margarito take out of Cotto's tank and is he too busy looking past Jennings to a rematch or Pacquiao?

From what I hear, Amir Khan has landed a fight with Barrera (yes, the Mexican legend). Now when I was first told this I laughed and thought Khan would get KOed, but thinking about it, Barrera is really a featherweight (at the most) who'll be fighting at lightweight. And he's 35, which is REALLY old for a lightweight fighter. I'm convinced Warren wouldn't make this fight if he thought Khan would lose badly.

If Jennings had been up in that class and got battered previously then that would have been my take on it as well. Thing is, for whatever reason he hasn't so no-one knows how he'll cope with the step up. I just get the feeling Cotto might be taking him too lightly.

I hope he does step up well, but I just think Cotto will be too strong, and I don't think Jennings has the chin to stand up to what Cotto will dish out. Particulary early in the fight.

Bloody hell. Even though he's 35 he'll have so much experience and could show Khan a thing or two. It could be a big mistake though.

An odd fight for Khan

I can't help but get the feeling Khan is making yet another HUGE mistake. Barrera is a proven world class fighter.

This may well lead to the end of the road for Khan.

Lightweight is a good few divisions above Barreras natural weight though

Even if he loses, how would it represent the end of the road for someone in his early 20s?

If he wins, what a name to have on your record even given his age...

If he wins it'll make him. However, if he loses (dependant on how ie. KO or points) it may well break him.

IMO he has been and is continually being advised into the wrong fights.

Respect to Khan for taking the fight. Roach trained Pacquaio to a comfortablevictory over Barrera less than 18 months ago. He wouldn't have let the fight be made if it was going to be a mismatch.

If Barrera is at the same level as he was then he'll KO Khan IMO. Either way this fight will not go the distance IMO.

Barrera has the experience of fighting world class fighters whereas Khan, as yet, does not.

Khan has a great chance if he boxes with his brain and sticks to the strategy Roach will give him. He is faster and stronger than Barreira.

I hope Barrera teaches him a lesson just like he did Hamed!
