So, is it Chelsea's turn to lose tomorrow and be "in crisis"?

Surprised to see Diame thrust into the Wigan side straight up.

I've seen him play for Rayo Vallecano a few times and, while he clearly has good attributes, he looked raw in the Spanish 2nd division and my friend who watches them week in, week out says he is inconsistent even in that league.

I wonder how long it will take Mark Hughes to accept that we are playing with one too many attacking players and bring in De Jong or Zabaleta (or Kompany when fit) and drop a big name forward.

Yesterday and at Blackburn City were nominally playing 4-4-2 but in reality it was closer to 4-2-4. I cant see us ever having that compact look associated with 4-4-2 when the wide players are Robinho and SWP.

We might get away with it at Pompey next week but Arsenal & United would slice through our midfield like a hot knife through butter.

We create many chances but don't take them. Without a 15-20 goal striker we are seriously going to struggle.

I think, TBF, it wasn't helped by the midweek game: Ireland in particular really wasn't anywhere near his best. And we made so many chances that, on another day, we'd have rightly expected a rout. How some of those chances were missed, I really do not know. Watched it on [iMotD[/i when I got home last night and there were every bit as many misses as I remembered.

Of course it does show that we're not yet beyond being 'typical Citeh'.

Part of my concern is that the system places too much burden on Ireland & Barry, the two players for whom we dont have much back up (unless Johnson gets fit). Hence both played for longer than was desireable in Barcelona.
