Yeah the winners of the NFC West don't deserve a playoff shot

It's a playoff game. The Seahawks superbowl, anything can happen in the NFL. The Saints will probably still win.

I predicted it and I still think the Seahawks win this.

You'd be the only one who had them. I'll be knocked out by the championship game.

It's as bigger game for the Saints as it is for the Hawks. If anything last weeks game was the Hawks Superbowl. This is just a bonus.

Halling talks some crap "Stokley is a poor mans Wes Welker" Stokley was defining that role and winning superbowls when Welker was still in high school. Stokley paved the way for the nippy small reciever.

Brees showed at the end of the half what he can do when he actually starts to go downfield. Now that the Saints realise they have to play to win this, they should come out a bit more aggressive and I imagine they'll go on to win fairly comfortably.

Would be amusing though if Seattle wins as I can't stand Sean Payton and his face will be a picture if the Saints lose.

They have nothing to lose. They have been written off all week. They are at home in an intimidating home field while the Saints are banged up with players out and have been bigged up.

Not really, the Saints have realistic superbowl ambitions and hope to be playing alot bigger games down the road. The Seahawks have nothing to lose and playing their best game of the season. Jeez, we stomped the Seahawks out in a quarter and a half, that's how bad they are. They're just showing the ability to get themselves up for one game. Full credit to them for putting up a great fight though. Hope they pull it off. Hasselbeck is the last remaining qb from the Holgrem clan at Green Bay (Favre, Brunell, Hasselbeck) shame injuries have limited his career. I expect the NFC West to improve alot next year.

On a side note. How cool is Mike Mayock.

I always think of Cortez Kennedy, Rick Mirer and Chris Warren when I think of the Seahawks.

Except of course this is essentially their second playoff game of the season. I get where your coming from but surely all 12 teams in the playoffs have ambitions to win the big one? To say that New Orleans are looking down the road is nonsense. It's a sudden death match, they won't have looked past this game. This is the biggest game of their season.

Don't try and jump on the bandwagon late!

They expect to be going deep in the playoffs is what I mean. As I type this the Seahawks are proving me wrong. Go Seahwaks and Go NFC West.

I understand why our division gets bashed. But to be fair I think our division has produced the most NFC champs in the last 10 years (think I read that or it could be complete ).

I think thats an arrogant attitude to have considering your a 7 (?) win team. Why would you be there Superbowl?

This is the biggest game for them. They get to prove on a national stage that they shouldn't have been written off by beating the champs.

Well because that game was against a rival to make the playoffs and win the divisional title. I think each game gets bigger as you go deeper and probably should have worded it better. But last weeks game was a playoff game essentially so I felt it unfair that people were saying that the Hawks had just got themselves up for one game.

I can think of four straight away. Good stat that.
