Apparently they've made up, and Senior claims [url=http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=18111&more=1Junior will be coming out of retirement[/url. Although I doubt Floyd Jr. would want to give Roger the elbow just yet.
Steve Bunce was saying on Setanta that there's been some fallout in the aftermath of the De La Hoya/Pacquiao fight. Freddy Roach reckons he could spot punctures in DLH's arms, citing they could only be made by intravenous drips or energy boosting injections. There's also been some news in the Phillippines claiming the weigh-in scales may have been tampered with. Apparently, Pacquiao was 146 on the morning of the weigh-in, yet weighed in at 142.

It doesn't make a difference which one he fights, he will got snotted. There is a difference betwen fighting the likes of Monte Barret who in all fairness looked unfit and overweight and did not want to throw a punch and then having what will be his second fight (unless he fights another nobody inbetween) at this weight against either of the best 2 fighters in that division. What puzzles me even more is how, after one fight, can you be ranked number 4 heavyweight in the world?

I actually think Haye has a very good chance of winning this fight, I think he will be to quick in all departments for Klitschko

Barrett looked in good condition physically, however his ring entrance just about summed up his whole impact on that fight.
Haye hits harder than either of the Klitchkos IMO but the big question marks are does he have the chin to enable him to land his power shots. Should be an exciting fight anyhow.

| Whenever I've watched either of the Klitschko's i've always been amazed by the lack of mobility of both of them but the reach and height advantages they have obviously negates that problem...hopefully Haye will be the kind of fighter to cause them both serious trouble with better head and body movement...Rahman just kind of stoof there and got punched on Saturday night without even trying to get his napper out the way...very odd.

| Rahman is way, way past it. He was only ever half decent back in 2001 when he was lucky to beat an unprepared Lennox Lewis. Were now 7 years on and he is still having World Title fights which just about sums the division up at the moment.
I'm not suprised Haye has jumped straight into a fight with Vitali, he is confident and has every reason to be. I am really looking forward to it, we've had a lot of no-hopers promising to rule the heavyweight division since Lewis retired but nobody has delivered. He will.

Well, he has previous form. The last person to unify the cruiserweight division's major titles — Evander Holyfield — went onto become a world champion at heavyweight within 18 months. It may have been sooner if Mike Tyson had not have held the major titles. So, there’s also previous examples. It also makes business sense. The fans want this fight to happen, the networks do, and the WBC does. That’s probably why the WBC rates Haye as their fourth highest contender, whilst the IBF don’t have him in their top 20. The only belt that has any merit in its ranking system is the IBO. Notably, they too rank Haye highly — 8th.

Barrett went all out to fight and was in good shape, I thought. He threw punches recklessly and thats why Haye managed to knock him down so many times.
I think Haye's got a great chance against either of them. Vitali is the better fighter of the two IMO, but is probably ideal for Haye as he won't jab his way through the night like Wladmir would.

As it says in the article, Hatton wants a fight with Pacquiao, which is the one I think will happen. If/when that takes place, the winner against Mayweather Jr becomes an even bigger fight.
Smart manouevering by Floyd's camp, let it be known you want to fight again, claim you were blocked in the original opponent (Hatton) and then get your shot at the winner.

If it does happen it will be after the Pacman fight. Which according SSN is going to happen in May.

A bit of chess going on at the moment with the Mayweather, Hatton and Pacquaio parties. It wouldn't surprise me if all of them ended up fighting each other at some stage, but it's about money alot of the time in boxing these days.
All three are in an amazing position to negotiate a deal - Hatton because he's the biggest draw in boxing (besides De La Hoya maybe), Pacquaio because he's pound for pound king and Mayweather because he's retired and undefeated.

I think Hatton would rather fight Pacquiao because of the weight division he can fight him in, and I think it will happen next year in the UK. The winner will undoubtably fight Mayweather.
If Ricky loses to Pacman I really don't know where he can go, Mayweather will not be interested. Unfortunately I don't see Ricky beating either man. Pacquiao will ultimately fight Mayweather for the unofficial best fighter on the planet title, and it is a tough one to call.

Seems a done deal and falls on the same weekend as Murrayfield Magic which is superb. It'll be in Vegas aswell not at Wembley. Hatton plans to start training 12 weeks before the clash, which shows his intentions.

Hatton definately.
De La Hoya starved himself to 143lbs at one point to make sure he made 147lbs which affected him so bad his stomach shrank to the point where he barely put on 2lbs after the weigh-in up to the fight.
Pacquiao is a great fighter but his victory over De La Hoya was a distorted one given the physical state of De La Hoya.
Hatton believes he cannot be beat at 140lbs and I agree with him, he will bully Pacquiao and win IMO.

Pacquiao will be more comfortable at 140 too though. I think it has the makings of fight of the year already anyway, and I can't wait!
I think the mexicutioner will have a bit too much for Hatton.. But saying that, no one knows what Hatton will be like with so much time with Mayweather Sr
