You only name players over 21. If that helps?

| Great transfer window for Dalglish managed to do the impossible. Got rid of one of Rafa's failures and also managed to sign one.

And I'd forgotten Terry Phelan was the best left back in the world.

Not sure that these squads mean a great deal. City have a 23 man group that Mancini clearly regards has his main squad. The official 24 man squad includes 3 players (Nielsen, Onuhua & Bridge) that will only play in emergencies and exludes two players (Savic & Balotelli) because of their age.

| I know someone posted that the new Everton forward wasnt any good but South American football scribe Euan Marshall thinks differently.
Quote ="Euan Marshall"On the last day of what was a rather quiet transfer window for David Moyes, the Toffees secured a season-long loan deal for 23 year-old Argentine forward Denis Stracqualursi. Last season’s top scorer in the Argentine Primera Division at bottom-half club Tigre, Stracqualursi gained a lot of admirers in South America with his relentless finishing. This particular move came as a bit of a surprise, but Everton may well have brought in a gem.
6'3"-tall and built like a brick house, Stracqualursi is your archetypal number 9. He is a great reference point in attack, as he is excellent in the air and superb at getting on the end of crosses. Additionally he has great awareness in the penalty area, he always seems to know where the goal is and he strikes the ball well too.
At 23 years-old and without any experience outside of Argentina or in continental competitions, he is still very raw and his skills will need some polishing if he is going to be a relevant European goalscorer. A loan with the option to buy represents minimal risk for Everton as if he does not come off he will return to Argentina at the end of the year. However, if he hits the ground running Everton could have a real star on their hands.'"

Not preferred to start with, was on the bench against QPR but was injured last week at Blackburn so wasn't in the Sheff Utd squad or Blackburn. Hopefully he'll he be back for Villa or Wigan.

| Quote ="Roddy B"What's going on with Garry Cook?'"
It was in The Sun:
Nedum Onuoha’s mum devastated by vile email
By SHAUN CUSTIS
THE cancer-stricken mother of Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha has been left 'humiliated and devastated' following a callous e-mail she believes was sent by the club's chief executive, Garry Cook.
Dr Anthonia Onuoha, who acts as Nedum's agent, last night sent official letters of complaint to the FA and Premier League about the e-mail she received during her year-long fight against cancer.
Cook has denied sending the message, explaining his e-mail system was broken into and a full internal inquiry has been launched at City to find the culprit.
The offensive e-mail emerged after Dr Anthonia wrote to City's football administrator, Brian Marwood, about a contract dispute her son was having with the club.
In October last year she e-mailed Marwood explaining that, while her body might be "ravaged with cancer and ongoing chemotherapy" she still had her wits about her to argue Nedum's case.
Two weeks later Dr Anthonia received an e-mail — which appeared to be from Cook and was meant for Marwood — but was instead sent to her.
The e-mail was addressed 'Brian' then said: "Ravaged with it!!......I don't now how you sleep at night. You used to be such a nice man when I worked with you at nike (sic)."
A devastated Dr Anthonia replied to Cook the following day saying: "Thanks very much for your insightful e-mail."
Cook responded, saying he hadn't sent the offending e-mail and that his e-mail account had been hacked while he was on holiday in South Africa for 10 days.
He insisted that, following an internal investigation, he had learned a member of his staff had sent the e-mail to Marwood as a joke.
He told Dr Anthonia: "I cannot and will not condone this unacceptable behaviour. I can confirm Brian did not receive this e-mail and disciplinary action is currently underway regarding one of our employees."
Cook also apologised for "any hurt or embarrassment this may have caused".
Dr Anthonia said: "When I opened up my e-mails and saw the message, it was the worst day of my life, even worse than being diagnosed with cancer.
"I couldn't understand how anybody could behave like that. I just cried and cried for hours.
"I'm critically ill and at that point I was undergoing chemotherapy. I was just so shocked but I couldn't tell Nedum or any of my family because I didn't know how they would react.
"It's incredible that any human being would write this. It's unforgivable and I still cannot believe it.
"When Cook replied to me, he said that he was confused, that he'd been away on holiday in South Africa and that somebody had hacked into his e-mail account and that whoever sent the e-mail to Brian Marwood meant it as a practical joke.
"It was all very stressful at the time, in fact it still is.
"The illness I have is very stressful, I'm having chemotherapy and radiotherapy, including having radiotherapy on my brain and this year has been traumatic. I didn't want anybody adding to my stress but that is what they've done.

| The club has denied that Cook was responsible and has said that disciplinary action is being taken against another employee. They need to provide the evidence to substantiate this. If Cook wasn't responsible then the club need to take the appropriate action against the employee concerned, sort out any security weaknesses and apologise again to Dr Onuhua. They also need to explain why its taken 10 months to investigate the matter.
If it turned out that Cook was responsible and tried to cover it up, then clearly he would have to go.

So either:-
a) Man sends email to wrong person by accident; or
b) Hacker breaks into email account and, rather than sending something interesting and/or sensational, decides to send a crude and unpleasant remark
It's a mystery.
Yahoo Sports has an interesting take on it...

| Clearly guilty. We've all done it in the past, hitting the wrong button when forwarding an email.
I remember at Uni sending on a picture a girl had sent me. I meant to send it on to my mates but ended up sending it back to her, slagging her off for her wings and tache. I used the same excuse Cook has, but Majorca instead of South Africa.

The daft bint complains to the FA and PL over it??? What are they going to do about it?
If Citeh value Cook they'll apologise over it and move on. If they think he's screwed up too often they'll dump him.

Aye. I don't understand why he's lied about it. It was stupid but it could have been worse. He's compounded the problem if he has lied about it. They'll have to sack him.

| He screwed up by sending the email to her, but would everything really have been better if he'd just admitted he sent it and said apologised?
I don't think so. She'd still be whining over it anyway and trying to get him sacked.
So he told her a stupid lie that no one will believe.
Personally, I think she was wrong to be bringing her illness into the negotiations anyway. She's acting as an agent and probably trying to screw Citeh for more money. If she's got cancer that's her problem, not the club's, she shouldn't be mentioning it.
It's another fuss over nothing IMO. It could cost Cook his job, because he has tripped himself up way too many times like this, but personally I think he should just get his wrist slapped by the club. The FA and PL should just forward her complaint to the bin.
And as for her comment that his email was worse then she was diagnosed with cancer....

Why should he get away with it? If I sent an email mocking the cancer of one of our stakeholders, be it a customer, client or employee, I would be sacked on the spot.
What he should have done is apologised directly to her and admitted he was stupid and it was totally out of order.
Lying about it and trying to get another employee sacked isn't good nor is using his position to cover it up. A man in such a position should appreciate the priviledge and act with a level of professionalism beffiting of the post.
Personally I hope he is sacked.

| I dont think too much can be read into her bringing up the subject of her health. Her e-mail was clearly part of an ongoing dialogue with Marwood. For all we know the previous communication from Marwood might have made reference to it, for example suggesting that negotiations be postponed until her treatment had been completed. The timing of the publication of the e-mail, some 10 months after it was sent, obviously smacks of sour grapes over the failure of Nedum to secure a transfer. And many City fans suspect the hand of Kia Joorabachian in this, continuing his feud with Cook over the Tevez saga.
But regardless of any dodgy motives on the part of Nedum's family or advisers, if Cook is found to have sent the e-mail and tried to cover it up, his position would be untenable.

He wasn't even mocking her in the email, was he?
He was ribbing Marwood because she was whining about Marwood's treatment of her during the contract negotiations. He said how nice he was when they worked for Nike, and making out that he'd changed.
It was mindless email banter between two blokes, which he had the misfortune for forward rather than sent to Marwood.
Who says that he's actually trying to get someone else sacked? My reading of the situation is that that's the BS story he's given her, but it doesn't mean there's any truth behind it. IF he was trying to make someone else fall on the sword for something he'd done then he should go, but I doubt that's the case.
