No bet for me as I have done enough today but Balcarce Nov 18/1 in the next at Donny should have a E/W chance if you overlook its last two runs, ran to 109 off 2lbs lower in a class 1 handicap and then 2nd to Rio De La Plata who went on to win Group 3 Strensall Stakes an come 2nd by a head in the Group 1 Moulin.

The fecking Toon have let me down for god knows how much. Tenner on this line would have paid £850 had they won, plus various 4 timers with them. Unfeckingbelievable.

Big price for this was fav last time out against Midday but refused to race for the first time had been sitting in the stalls for 7 mins but has come through the stalls tests after it fine.

Frustrating day for me today. Didn't manage to get any bets on but the 2 I was going to would have come in by the looks of it. Aurora Sky in the 630 at Kempton and Cesena to beat Milan in Serie A. AC Milan's team is so unbalanced it's scary.

Could be in for a real treat tomorrow as the horse once regarded as good as Sea The Stars a year ago (rumours around that Arazan actually beat Sea The Stars over a mile at home with Kinane onboard) finally runs again, tricky race and might not show its true form yet and may take a few runs just like Sans did this season but this used to be a class act in 2008 as a 2yo was rated officially higher then Sea The Stars, was due to go in the 2008 Dewhurst Stakes but got a footbruise and didn't go but was 8/1 at the time for the 2,000 Guineas come April 2009 it was 10/1 but Oxx had doubts about both Sea The Stars and Arazan the latter being because it like a bit of give in the ground an Oxx didn't want to run it first time out on fast ground.

It was then aimed at the Irish 2,000 Guineas but missed that at the time a 4/1 shot and then St James's Palace Stakes because of a temperature (pneumonia) and then had more problems at the start of this year which mean't it has missed most of this year as well, not one to go crazy with the money on with so many doubts but worth a few quid and will be interesting to see how it gets on as the vibes from Oxx have been good.

Sariska now 7/2 with most which is more of a right price so am happy with 5/1 on ground she should like.

The Oxx horse is 4/1 with PP taking that unless my bookie betters it and having a good look at Byword @ 6/4 first try at this trip though.

Backed Makfi again @ just under 5/1 for Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot in 2 weeks time now got £50 at around 4/1 and 5/1 which will do as Ante Post is very risky but it shouldn't be 5/1 if it goes which it should after it missed the Moulin, don't understand why people don't rate it after it won the 2,000 Guineas on fast ground in only its 3rd ever race, wasn't right at Ascot next time an couldn't of been more impressive with the ease it beat Goldikova on soft ground, people pointing to that being the only reason it won I think it really didn't suit Goldikova but you can't take anything away for Makfi as it won 2,000 Guineas on fast ground, Canford Cliffs has improved since then but so has Makfi and you know if the weather is bad in 2 weeks time it won't be a problem for it.

3:45 Goodwood - Kindest - This 4yr old filly has been a credit to connections with consistency been the key, this is why im keen to back her today returns after a break after running in a good newmarket race lto behind Spanish Duke. Dropped to a class 4 today over a track I expect to suit.... at 9/2 ill take some of that.

4:20 Goodwood - Sutton Veny A front running performer who won 3 on the spin early in the year has raced in two decent newmarket races and with goodwood being a track that suits a front running style she could just get up infront and pull away from the others decent chance at 13/2

4:55 Goodwood - Backing another filly here in the form of Dulcie - Mark Tompkins is in tremendous form of late and this lightly raced horse who produced an excellent run at york on a return after a big break behind Deauville Flyer who I use confidently as a benchmark. Deauville Flyer is now rated 93 Dulcie is rated 78 and has a 5lb claimer on board im fairly confident there is more to come at a price of 9/1

Over at the Curragh sees the return of the once highly rated Arazan although I prefer the look of Wade Giles with a fast pace likely im keen to get steinbeck beaten again and this lighlty raced ranks a cracking bet at the price of 9/1

Aviate was my filly to follow this year and im keen to see how she gets on Elanora Duse produced a cracking effort last time out but this is a watching brief for me..although I would side with Aviate to my affection for her.

In the 2:40 at Longchamp its all about MIDDAY here fully expect her to romp home and ill take the 11/4 good luck.

Lost my return from Sans Frontieres on Hull in the rugby. And if I'd done my footy coupon would've had newcastle in it for sure. No more serious money betting on anything other than horses from now on.

Got a few more quid on Arazan @ 6/1 reminds me abit of Captains Cee Bees comeback nobody fancied him and he got layed all over the place on betfair hopefully the same out come
