Im still waiting for everyones proof of this "cheating" and so is the NFL
HTH
'"
No they aren't. Unless you don't count:
Being caught and disciplined for taping the Jets.
Belicheat admitting to it.
Belicheat admitting doing it since he became head coach dating as far back as 2001.
Alledged taping of Rams prior to Superbowl. As yet not 100% proved.
Unless your saying you were punished by the NFL for nothing?

| Not at all but if you remember when it first came to light the NFL stated that it wasnt against the rules and it was more of an unwritten rule that was frowned upon(whatever the hell that means) . In my book anyone would of/ probably has done the same thing and the pats have been made an example of(rightly so IMO I dont see what good it would do anyway in a game situation where nothing ever happens the same as practice), lets face it no one else will admit to it after they saw the fine that the pats got.
I must admit I find it very strange that something supposedly as big as this has never really been talked about after the incident, if it was as serious as people on here make out they would have been banned from the play-offs and not just a pointless first round draft pick taken away that we generally trade away anyway IF they made the playoffs
In America it seems the only people bothered were Jets fans as if they would have beat us in that game anyway
I dont hear any Rams fans saying anything about the super bowl

| Quote ="El Pac Carnegie"I'm a Rams fan and i'll comment on it. I don't think other teams do it because as far as i know its completely illegal, if it isn't illegal nobody else has been caught doing it which doesn't help the Pats, to do what the Pats did. We only lost that Superbowl by 3 points and have been going downhill ever since. Did the taping give the Pats those 3 extra points? i suppose we will never know, it will certainly of given them an unfair advantage'"
I think what was worse about the SB loss was the tactics used by the Patriots defence on the field of which their continued use actually pretty much led to the rules on pass interference being changed and being enforced a lot more stringently. Our passing game was destroyed by their defensive backs who were roughing up our wide receivers all game. Given that fact, you could say the Patriots were very lucky to get to and win the SB that year given the controversy surrounding the "tuck rule" in the Divisional playoff game against Oakland.
As for Bellichick, he's a fantastic coach but he's a complete bell end who I have little respect for. There's plenty of great coaches in various sports who I dislike (Alex Ferguson, etc), but few who I think would go to the sort of lengths that he would go to, to win.

| Give over there is only 1 thing that matters in sports WINNING if you dont win you lose if you lose you lose your job
Therefore anyone would anything to get the win whether people choose to believe it or not
When it comes to the Superbowl pass interference I think it was very clever and the fact that they used it to their own advantage to win and upset the favourites just proves what a smart coach Belicheck is
We give you a chance to get back into the game when Willie McGinnest held/basically tackled Faulk on the line when Warner fumbled

I agree, they played in a way that they knew they could get away with. The defence was nowhere near as dominant as they were when those rules on P.I. were changed though.
Winning obviously does matter but there is a point at which someone's actions have to be called into question. Bellichick crossed that line and he was punished for it with Spygate. Not as bad as some of the ways people have cheated in sports in other examples but still a very underhand tactic that made him look all the more worse when he pleaded ignorance to it.

I agree with that especially with him being ignorant but thats just the way he seems to be like the world is against him or something, hes a very strange character but a tactical genious nontheless

You don't need to if you have Peterson.
Looking forward to the Pack game later.

| I'm currently up by a point in my fantasy game.
Mo-Jo got me 17 points. Peyton did OK, but Eddie Royal did crap, only got me a point.
Driver, Packers DST and Tomlinson to go for me yet.
