As much as I am a fan of Vince Young no one player is bigger than the team so I would keep Jeff Fisher and I hope that Bud Adams takes the advise of Titans executives in that case. But we'll have to wait and see if the owner takes the advice. It was Bud Adams who wanted Vince Young and not Jeff Fisher as I believe he wanted to draft Jay Cutler.

Titans have released a statement saying Vince Young will NOT be on the roster next season! Im not sure about this. Franchise QB's dont grow on trees.

The Bengals should have got rid of him a couple of years ago when he wanted a trade,they'd have got quite a bit for him then where now they get nothing for him.They have a couple of good young wr's in Caldwell and Simpson so they don't need CO and all the baggage that comes with him anymore.

We'll just have to find someone else to be QB. Fisher wanted Cutler apparently but Adams wanted Young ( both from Houston ) but now there might be a cloud over Fisher staying as things are still being evaluated. I hope Jeff Fisher stays.

Vince Young is Daunte Culpepper Mk2, just he never had Randy Moss in his prime to throw to.

The problem with Young was work ethic and lack of intelligence. He is a 9-5 player , its his job. He doesn't really have a passion for the game. He won't put in the extra time it takes (offseason or extra time regular season) to be a Super Bowl QB. Thats why Fisher can't stand the guy. He had his chances and failed. Also being a low IQ person doesn't help either with his grasp of a complex offense. This is a player who takes it personal when the home crowd boos him. Threw his shoulder pads in the stands and quit.

That being said someone will always take a flyer on him, in the hope that he works it all out.

Apparently Luck is going back to Stanford for his final year. Brave decision but something which I applaud.
