Don't know about Saudi but Purslow said there is some people who may invest over the next few months but if it does happen then the situation at the club maybe even worse as then there would be 3 having a say an I don't how that could work.

It's not difficult to see Liverpool's problems. They start with Rafa and end with Benitez.

Torres, Reina and Gerrard are world class, Benayouin is quality, but beyond those three? Kuyt is a complete donkey, he is your typical Sheffield United player, works his backside off but hasn't got any quality about him at all. Ngog, Babel, Riera, Aquilani, Lucas, the list goes on an on. They paid £18m for a pathetic right back in Johnson so can never ever moan about not being able to spend money. In order to win the Premier League Liverpool realistically need 2 centre backs, 2 fullbacks, two central midfielders, two wide midfielders and two strikers. The fact that we had to sell £80m of player to make a profit is disturbing, and has come at a convenient time for the Glazer's when they are trying to work up this bond issue thing. Include that transfer and you have £40m profit instead of £40m loss, suddenly looks more appealing to investors, although surely they aren't that thick to believe it?

Don't suggest they've not backed him. His decisions re. signings are awful. Bar Reina and Torres who were hardly difficult to pick as being quality, none of his other signings have made the grade.

Surely you cannot defend the failure he has become? If all the signings he'd made were doing well, like you can say for David Moyes or Alex McLeish or O'Neill for example then people would agree with you. But I bet Rafa has spent well over £100m on utter rubbish.

Those above you deemed not good enough are still young enough to develop their game to become good enough. There is only 2 players on that list that start regularly though. Wash N'gog is starting to become a good striker and would suit a regular spot in a Championship side. The other 2 we've not seen enough of to pass comment.
