Another weekend, another sweep for the Jays. A big mistake from Travis "Lunchbox" Snider coming into home took away pretty much our only hope of getting a win this weekend.

I can't even get excited about the extended rosters because it sounds like they're only going to be bringing up players who are already on the 40 man roster. I was hoping to see some new faces.

Wow - crazy game in Texas last night. The Jays race to an 11-0 lead, Texas claw it back to 11-10, including a 7 run 5th, only for the Jays to crank out their own 7 run innning in the 9th to win 18-10. Absolute madness!

Adam Lind had a belter of a game and came 1 short of club record for RBIs in a game with 8.

Double header today. I hope we're not all scored out!

The White Sox are running into some form but it looks like it's too late

They've had the better of us these last 2 games and looked impressive after the loss of Thome.

It is unlucky how late they have left it.

Nice to be back home just in time to see the Jays pull off a cracking victory at new Yankee Stadium (been to Spain to see the family). Was a firey affair after Posada got his knickers in a knott over a pitch from Jesse Carlson that didn't even hit him. This after our players never batted an eyelid both times we got beaned. Not sure what his problem was really but he certainly went OTT by throwing an elbow at Carlson as he came in to score, resulting in a bench and bullpen clearing pile in.

Really daft move by Posada who will most likely face a ban for his actions.

Tonight should be a real belter after that! Can't wait

12th consecutive quality start for Arroyo today. He's gone at least seven innings in every single one. I'm quietly optimistic about the Reds chances next year if we can keep hold of Gomes.

Aswell as the Rios quote Ozzie has said quite a few things in the last couple of months and usually it gives the team a kick up the backside and they start playing better but not this season.I think if they start next season the same way as they have finished this season Ozzie will be on his way out.

Some of our players need a kick up the . Cito is just way too nice. He gives the players way more respect than they deserve, especially this season. He stuck with Rios and Wells at 4 and 5 for 3 months, despite them being persistantly unproductive. He didn't want to upset them by dropping them down the order.
