While Jose will have extra incentive because he's facing us, I just don't see Inter as being capable of doing anything. They were pretty pathetic against Man United last season. Even with the addition of Eto'o I don't think they're good enough.

It looks like the agent is just putting pressure on the Russian FA prior to contract talks.

Cook wouldnt be doing his job properly if he wasnt putting some feelers out about a potential replacement for MH. However its disappointing that an almost identical story about MH being on the verge of the sack appears in numerous papers today. Referee Lee Mason tries to have a word with his fourth official, all the while Rafa Benitez trying to have a word in his ear. It makes no difference - when Mascherano gets up, he is shown the red card. Personally, I don't think he can complain - it's a shocking challenge.

1329: Javier Mascherano could be in trouble in two ways here - he's lunges in on Tal Ben Haim, but the Argentine goes down straight after too. He needs treatment, but he should be getting a card too.

Thought the sending off was harsh, I've not been able to look at it from every angle but the contact looked pretty minimal and I don't think his stoods were up. When Brown's been running around fouling galore, put in that context, it wasn't even a card.
